Hey guys, I recently did a fresh installation of Windows 7 on my laptop. As I needed an activation, not knowing of the consequences, I used Orbit's Toolkit 1.8. As I read around here earlier today I saw someone with the same problem as mine. All looked the same, except when someone said to use a Windows 7 Recovery Disk. I have burned it onto a DVD but once I go into BIOS order and put DVD first, nothing happens. In the end it still goes to: chainloader /bootmgr Error 13: Invalid or unsupported executable format Press any key to continue... I press any key and get brought to the red GRUB4DOS screen, I've tried every single selection in there, can't seem to resolve my problem. If someone could please help me, I would appreciate it SOOOO much. Sincerely, `Anthony
To clear things up you said you installed 7 fine then use orbit loader then you having trouble restarting? If that is so then read in repository on how to fix start up problem in Section 6-H. What that does is clear any loaders from the boot partition. Then because it works so well use daz loader 1.7.7 Also are yo using the RTM in repositoty? Good luck

Is it possible to use the Live Loader And Recovery Disk in conjunction with the Install Disk? By the way, is it possible to put both on an external hard drive and pass it on to my laptop? Thanks again, `Anthony
If you need to recover from restart problem they both work fine individually Best to use imgburn or ISO converter to burn/extract files to media. Live loader must be burned to DVD and might work with USB if boot files are on it.
Hi, I had same problem with the author except i stuck at Press any key to continue and i tried to press all the keys but it not going anywhere. I tried fixed start up 6-H but it doesn't work at all. I holded the R key and when the data process, it just go back to the error 13 window.
resolved oi, cadastrei aqui somente para responder pois pesquisei muito na INTERNET e nao achei uma solução usei o Windows 7 Loader.exe, e deu essa $#$%@$ de erro: chainloader/bootmgr error 13:invalid on unsupported exatual press any key to continue engraçado que eu tinha um backup do ghost32 do disco C (30 gb) e restaurei o backup, mas continuou o mesmo erro sorte que achei um arquivo .txt na pasta desse programa explicando como restaurar o BOOT padrão do windows
