doh: But what's the point to reply a simple no?
If you don't like the idea or can't find any useful use for yourself, then let it be. Am I wrong?

It looks handy, if you're doing this often and if there are no side-effects, like malfunctioning and suddenly cutting you off, not that I expect them.

Then there is of course the Control Panel and pulling the plug out (clearly preferable to the depicted scissors cutting the cable). Personally, I switch the modem off.

Mate, there's no reason to do that if you can control with software. In my case I always had to do many clicks to disable Ethernet adapters or anything else cause pulling the cord is kind of impractical, risky to trash the connector or knock down my router with my hands, etc.

I really find this app very handy, honestly. Just want @wtarkan to fix the certificate issue. That's it.

I know you are not criticizing wtarkan's work, no doubts. I know you are just explaining your own methods (which I sometimes do though) and I was explaining my reasons on why not to pull the cable at all while this solution helps a lot.

I've found that as a rule, those certificates don't mean very much. It's just a way for some to make money. So I've come across many sites with invalid certificates, including some I considered reputable, I've always approved visiting them in the pop-up and never happened anything to me.

There's always of course a first time, also more vulnerable systems, so I'm by no means advising to ignore them, and the OP is right in seeking a solution, as lack of it would discourage many prospective users.

Exactly , All of our freeware is 100% virus free , but in virustotal there are some false positives , when we contact the Antivirus firms they advise us to buy a Root certificate , it mean we should pay c.a 1000 $ for 2 years . (meaningless)
