On May 18, 2017, the FCC voted to move forward with a notice of proposed rule making, which could roll back net neutrality rules. The notice of proposed rule making requests public comment on how the FCC should approach new rules to ensure an open internet, and I encourage you to share your views with them. You can do so by going to https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filings/express and in the field labeled “Proceedings(s)” enter “17-108” to open the docket titled “Restoring Internet Freedom.”
OK, I shall type really slowly and quote really slowly so you understand my comment. It is my opinion and nothing more. When I first read your post the part bolded and enlarged I read as "I encourage you to share your viruses with them". ( Yes, I DO need new glasses. ) That was subliminal on my part and after thinking about it, it would be about the only way to get their attention, why ? Because there are very few people who understand the implication of the changes they are trying to make. The vast majority of those which do are businesses, and for most of them it means an advantage over everyone else. It will take more than "cheerleading" this time. Do you now understand ?
Net Neutrality: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Net_neutrality Specific for the U.S. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Net_neutrality_in_the_United_States My first post links to the FCC so you can tell them your views of net neutrality, and hopefully they'll get a better understanding of what the citizens of the U.S. want
You are preaching to the choir. Getting that message out to the populace is much more difficult than posting links in a forum. A word of advice, don't take it personally when you get labeled a conspiracy theorist and a kook. ( been there, done that ) Good luck.
