Good to see two traditionally under performing teams (at least in the World Cup) reach this far, and deservedly so. I have no preferences on this. Anyway, the broadcast timings are suited for Europe, at least I am not such a ardent fan to watch the match starting at midnight (India time).

I have to agree with it. Congrats, too. Germany played the most attractive football though and had scored most. Uruguay was strong also. The oranje team played unfair and one heavy foul (kick to the chest) should have given the red card.
the timings (midnight start) and my priorities (sleep over football) meant I did not watch the match. But saw the kick on the morning news and people have got yellow cards for infinitely lesser offences. That kick on the chest should have meant an immediate send off.
