Hi, Windows 8.1 is great but there are some new changes that I don't really like.

    - IE11 Synced Tabs, as it shows all your tabs on your previous installations of Windows 8.1

-Opening links in "Metro" apps opens up half a screen IE11, and not in full screen like in Windows 8

-Apps don't close ! they keep running in background, if you want to close them you have to pick them up from the top and lower your mouse down for some seconds and then the app tile will flip, at that moment you can drag it further down and it will close.

    - And typing this on My Digital Life Forums using IE11 ... keeps lagging ! a Pain !!

If any one knows how to change things back to "Normal" it would be appreciated.

Not at all. Instead of that spyware ridden Chrome, that hyped FireFox or that buggy Opera, I'm positive he meant Chromium.

    Cheers.

The metro apps don't close permanently because when you close they suspended.

Or you can close them in the metro app switcher, by right-clicking and selecting "Close"

Not in Win 8.1 at the moment so can't test... Alt-F4 doesn't close them?

Wow, I just tested closing metro apps.

Alt-F4 closes them, but there is some delay, and even when the app is closed, it still may continue to appear in the Task Manager. Sometimes restarting the task manager helps.

Choosing "Close' from Metro App Switcher, also has same behavior.

And.. It seems you cannot close metro apps by just dragging them to the bottom. They get suspended, but disappear from Metro App Switcher. But if you hold it there at the bottom, it is closed. But you may need to restart the task manager to make it disappear.

Off-topic: And I encountered a VERY weird bug while testing this. I am using desktop IE11, and while tying this message, by keyboard keeps skipping letters. WTF

There are two ways how to solve this problems:

    1. Ignore this problems and use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
    2. Wait October 18 for fixed ISOs.
