    Hello,

does anyone have an explanation for my new HP G72 which came with an ACRSYSACRPRDCT 2.1 slic table.

I wiped the drive and installed a fresh (without the manufacturers garbage) win7.

Wanted to install a certificate with OPA and activate but it does not seem to work.

SLICDUMP tells me there is an ACER SLIC table.

    Any idea?

Is it a brand new machine or refurbished, does the disk contained a loader before.

It's a brand new drive (and HP laptop)... wiped with the win7-partitioner while installing.

Strange ... SLICDUMP tells me all ACER under "slic-diagnostics" but BIOS-vendor Hewlett-Packard.
Under SLP-tab it shows valid hewlett SLP addresses.

It does not matter if the DRIVE is new. It matter if the laptop is refurb (and some bright spark mod the BIOS with Acer Slic)

And what did you use for this install?
Double-check the hash to be sure you did not use some pre-acticated c**p
