I installed nvidia's new drivers that were released today: 275.33. and when I rebooted, I was greeted with no Aero. Automated attempts to fix the problem were unsuccessful. I reverted to a previous point using system restore, and all was well. Anyone else having the same problem?

    275.33 is not Beta,it's WHQL.
    Btw,where you found 271.61 drivers?!

I know there are old drivers; that's what I was using before. That's not the point though, I was just wondering why newer WHQL drivers broke aero.

maybe because microsoft called up nvidia people to limit the usage of build 7955 & 7850?
idk man, check out on google or call them up. They've got forums ? then post on them, maybe somebody would help you.

google returns nothing and i'd prefer not to be banhammered from their forums. in case you haven't noticed, having Windows 8 is illegal.
