    Hi guys,

Just purchased a new pc and it came with Windows 7 Starter.

I have searched across your board, but I'm unsure if I found the correct answer and just wanted to know if its possible.

Would it be possible to make a bootable Windows 7 Disc that would accept the W7 Starter key thats on the netbook and have it pre-activated without having to phone MS.

Just I was thinking that it would be better when ever the time came that I need to format then I wouldn't have all the pre-installed software that the restoration installs.

Cheers for any help & advice.

BTW its a HP Mini 110 with a recovery partition (have found the wim image).

Oh thats great - thank you.

Yeh Starter is a little erm cough cough lol, the software that hp install most of it I dont use lol and I hate the Norton that they keep installing. I just can't understand why they think to install a cd/dvd burning software when you don't have or get a dvd drive lol in the netbook.

But thanks again for that info very helpful.

urie, while I agree with you about PC Decrapifier, it's just not the same is a Clean, Fresh install. Also, lol @ Disk Software on a Disk-Drive less Computer ;)
