New Windows 7 SP1 (W/ Media Update 5122011) How to Activate on System w/ Slic in Bios

    Hi everyone,

    I want to install a fresh copy of windows 7 w/ SP1. Currently running Windows 7 with HP SLIC Bios and activated via OPATools. I was wondering after install how should I activate it? Should I use OPATools again or use one of the ones mentioned below:

    • Microsoft Toolkit - Official KMS Solution for Windows and Office 2010
    • Trilogy
    • WOAT - OEM/KMS Activator
    • Get kms.txt here
    • Daz Loader

    Windows Loader takes care of everything regardless of SLIC 2.1 or not so me personally would go with that.

    I've been told that many BIOS modders use the loader application to install just the certificate + serial as it's much more up to date than OPATool. I can also say that as long as WAT hasn't flagged your system as non-genuine then it should work without any problems.
