WZOR reports, that a *NEW* FINAL build of Windows 7 with SP1 integrated has been released on MAY 12, which has all the fixes to the issues which may happen post-SP1 in the previous FEB 2011 RTM Build WZOR, translated article COMPANY MICROSOFT WINDOWS 7 Downloads UPDATED WITH INTEGRATED first service pack SP1. Microsoft has updated May 12, 2011 all distributions with a fixed integration first service pack of Microsoft Windows 7 with SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 with SP1, is integrated into the distros patch 2534111 on known issues that may arise during the installation of Windows 7 with SP1 - with the name of the PC containing the characters outside the range of ASCII, including the option of automatically generated name for Russian distributions. And, of course, Microsoft has updated all distributions on MSDN, for all languages (including English). According to the official explanation, no other changes are made. So what we have in mind, the checksums early distributions with SP1 hosted by us will not coincide with those that are available now on MSDN. We are currently exploring the feasibility of placing fixed distribution Islands do not mean the significance of this problem. Still need confirmed info, whether it only contains only the PC-name hotfix ... or all Post-SP1 updates... Any Further Info, as to when & where, us regular NON-MSDN ppl can get it...would be highly appreciated also where can we get RETAIL / OEM versions ?
r u sure, that's about it ? ...why would MS re-release just for 1 hotfix...that has something to do only with the fact that PC Name can't be numbers-only ! really think it must be having all post-SP1 updates & fixes...
No. Just read some of the postings and follow some of the links in above mentioned thread – all information there...
Already, post SP1 updates are approaching 100 MB. Well, if this is the only change, then purists can download. I for one shall download 64 bit enterprise and ultimate and not waste bandwidth on others.
It's because the one hotfix fixes a major problem with the ISO, and otherwise they aren't going to change what defines SP1. Also, the *error* is a message telling you that your computer can't be numbers-only, the *symptom* is that you can't login and thus can never use windows. Basically, users who were Russian, Croatian, Ukrainian, or Thai can't use the SP1 media.
Only english.... Where's the other languages isos? Why nobody is sharing it... it never took so long like this
Where I can get updated Windows 7 with SP1 Professional OEM iso with included KB Article 2534111. I need it for some work computers? Thanks.
