    HI All

    not sure if anyone can help but i didn't change anything on my end except that the latest updates installed on the 12th which is KB4483452, am using windows 10 1809 on all machines and suddenly i can no longer access mounted NFS shares supplied by HanewinNFS server, this work perfectly fine until this last week, now when ever i click on a share it pops up saying access denied, i've switched all firewalls off and no difference there

    hope you can help :)

    You should check if samba share 1.0 is enabled in windows but that changed after the build 1809 so

    Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

    Try SMB 2.0 and Enable CFS as well..

    tried everything i can think of so far, going to install a fresh 1809 with no patches on a spare machine to see if that works then i can definitely look towards that update

    I've had so much trouble with local network performance and reliable sharing since going to Windows 10. That's one of my major complaints with it. I'm not familiar with NFS, but if it relies on the SMB master browser it will give you trouble with 1809. You don't want any 1809 machines assuming the role of master browser. There's a tweak to keep that from happening;
    Code:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters]
    "MaintainServerList"="No"
