nLite is for Windows 2000, Windows XP and Server 2003 only, but nuhi might update vLite to include proper support for Win7, 8 and now 8.1!
As i see from the official site we DON'T have any news for supporting win8 and win 8.1 except that: Does anyone knows more?
You know what we know... He doesn't like to overhype his stuff before releasing. Can't say I blame him. Some people really expect a lot from complete strangers. In the meantime you can check out winreducer. I would never advise it for anyone who's not a hardcore enthusiast, but it does its' job well. AFAIK it's 64-bit only for the programs though... The target image can be 32 bit
No, no this is not an option. I want a program that CAN work at windows7 and make a customizable win8 bootable iso file.
VMWare Player One does not exist right now. So just install VMware Player or some other free VM software for now. Maybe nLite for W8.1 won't need W8.1 to run but we wont know until the first beta is release... I am trying to do this thru VMware Player to get rid of the SSD crippling being done but so far I have not found a Windows 8.1 w/ update + WMC x64 .ISO that works on WinReducer. Tried your 24in1 but no go. Seems there is a 20 edition limit on it. Also not sure if it's because it's not an MSDN .ISO (Have tried about 5 ISO's without any success) Don't want to hijack this thread.. Any chance you can PM with any pointers. Might have to start a thread to see if there are folks that have found a WMC .ISO they can use on WinReducer. Specially since you mention to never use the keys/activation that are posted at other sites. Looking for a WMC ISO that I can change on WinReducer & then KMS to test it on the VM. Hope to get a PM from you soon. Or let me know if you want to use some other different communication method. Thanks..
