From within Windows 8.1 Created a new folder c:\installwim within this folder created a further folder called "MOUNT" copied the install.wim file into the c:\installwim folder Then opened a command prompt (admin) copied and paste this command to mount the image: DISM /Mount-Wim /WimFile:c:\INSTALLWIM\install.wim /index:1 /MountDir:c:\INSTALLWIM\mount Manually delete my tokens.dat & data.dat files below: c:\INSTALLWIM\mount\Windows\System32\spp\store\2.0 copy and paste this command to commit the changes made: Dism /unmount-wim /mountdir:c:\installwim\mount /commit And add EI.CFG on the windows source and add this install.wim to replaced burn iso and enjoy Windows 8.1 Pro RTM x64 with no activation at all (just like old Windows 95/98SE without activation) There won't be any product key or activation. My mate told me to try this, but I haven't try it. I will try it later when I get home. Worth a try to see if it does work. If it doesn't can the mod of this forum removed this thread.
Maybe you will have issues with the Windows Updates or your copy will be flagged as non genuine by activation files mismatch... (just my impression)..
I had try this, nope, it won't work as it say Windows is not activated. Please buy a new key or call Microsoft. I call Microsoft as all 9 boxes of installation ID is invalid and Microsoft say "Do u have a product key?" as I say yes and then Microsoft say "Ok give me the product key please" and I gave to Microsoft the same product key which I found hidden inside windows and then Microsoft say "Thank You, I am now going to validated your product key" and then few minutes later he asked me "how many computer please?" and I say one and then he say "thank you, I am now going to give you the confirmation ID to put into your activation wizards screen. Put in each boxes" and I put all in boxes and it ACTIVATED! lol The hidden product key inside windows 8.1 wasn't C9WKB (the last one) as it was JK7QT instead
Yeah they probably check all this forum and will do something about data.dat and tokens (Microsoft might get it updated patches soon to block it)
