No activation with SLP Key

    Got a Compaq CQ60 and updated latest bios which is slic 2.1 enabled
    Installed a fresh install of Win7 Home Premium x86 OEM
    Installed HP-Compaq cert and the HP SLP key beginning 4FG99 with opa tool 0.5 both installed ok but it wont activate.


    Has anybody activated a Compaq using that HP key successfully?

    I have tried different keys and certs but no joy.

    Try some loader like Vista7 Slic Ldr. :D

    When you activate it with a loader, you don't need to make it with OEM-SLP Keys or with Certi. Use the loader, restart the PC and and you'll see your windows 7 will be activated.

    Well what a muppet I am.The latest bios on Compaqs site is 2.0 and not 2.1 slic as I thought.Sorry for wasting everyones time.I have now submitted a 2.1 slic request.:eek:
