    Hi,
    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I have HP ENVY 17-2100e 3D Edition Notebook PC, first I render an architectural files, 15mb then it freeze & hang-up, I hard OFF & I turn it ON again, then I enter my password in BIOS & it don't accept it 3times then it say " System Error" I forgot the number, then I hard OFF again & turn it ON, all LED lights up from keyboard, sound & wifi key, caps lock only off NO BIOs just BLACK SCREEN.

I remove even the RAM & the coin Battery. I heard only CPU fan working & the CD ROM, nothing HDD LED flashing. I use external monitor & pressing F4 still no BIOS window.

I already change the HDD, also the OS to Win8, the HP_TOOLS is already gone, so I downloaded the HP System Environment and install it to USB, I download also the BIOs file in the HP download pages and

I get this file inside SPXXXXX.exe
0159BF1C.bin I use Phoenix Tools to get the .DEC & .SIG file.
    I rename both like this:
    0159BF1C.bin
    0159BF1C.sig
and I put it on Current & Previous Folder

pressing the windows + B key, 5mins to an hour, nothing happen or sound.

I'm thinking that something blocking or disabling the system to function. "Just Freezing or bootLOCK"

    Any Help

    0159B.bin
    0159B.sig

    edit:
the real problem is he needs to reflow chipset or replace bad hdd. (test S.M.A.R.T. for your brand disk)

first I render an architectural files, 15mb then it freeze & hang-up. = created lots of heat and BGA desolder a pin or 2 and now it locks up.
easy test.. clean fans and heatsink too. if same issue occurs then find chipset location on mainboard and press on it with light pressure and see if it locks up then.

or check ram and clean them with a pencil eraser

I think LatinMcG put his finger on the problem
I had an HP DV7 once with the same symptoms
I thought it was the infamous bga failure, so I replaced the motherboard
    didn't fix it
then I replaced the cpu, that fixed it

    I'd change the cpu first.

push on 3 chips 1 at a time with no power.. still pressing chip power it on. retry with cpu, and 2 main chips near it.

if it works then u have to reflow (resolder them)
