no bootable devices

    I need some help. what does that mean when it says that?

    Means exactly what it says. It can't find any device (ie. hard drive) to boot to.

    paul01, to boot FROM. :D
    Check in BIOS if it shows HDD, if not try changing cable, if HDD makes strange noise then it means it lost zero track = it's dead. It even can be north bridge fault(IDE/SATA controller fault). :biggrin5:
