I am still curious how OEM will work. Is MS going to just let that one go or not since loader makes Win7 free for everyone already, so I dunno. Volume, highly and extremely unlikely @OP I don't know what you would have thought, that MS would just say hey world take the Windows 10 OS for free? Free Windows 10 to upgrade has been that way all along, not just hand over the OS if that is what you are implying lol
That is because everybody misunderstood what Aul was saying. To me, it sounded like Aul was saying that Technical Preview Users could do an INPLACE UPGRADE when RTM arrives just like Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users can. So in fact, Aul was talking about whether TP users had to wipe their drive. He was not talking about giving TP users a free copy of Windows 10 RTM.
yes but windows 7 can be activated with OEM licences and you don't even have to pay for it,, I don't see how it will work if everyone can just get a copy of windows 7 off the internet and just get an OEM activation
I still think you will need OEM:COA key just because you can activate Windows 7 via OEM:SLP does not mean you have a license.
I have mentioned this since last year, every win7OEM comes with a COA and is that simple, couldn't see why people were fussing over win7 loader as if MS doesn't know it's existence.
im sure a activator will be release for win10....i dont see why people even worry.....besides u can upgrade for free if your in insider program
