Hi guys, I´d used to run some old software on xp compatibility mode on windows 10 rtm without any problems.

Since updating to 1511 th2, compatibility mode only let you choose until windows vista :31:

Windows 10 RTM let you choose until win 95.

There is a way to change this?

    Thanks

After trying more programs, it will let me choose until w95 on some programs, win vista on others.

Probably was the same way w10 rtm was.

Just freak out when I didnt saw the option.

    Thanks.

It's normal as 64 Bit programs only have compatibility mode for Vista and newer.

If it's a 64-bit program, compatibility only goes back as far as Vista (for obvious reasons as earlier versions of Windows can't run 64-bit programs.)

It's up to Windows 95, also in 1511.

I have noticed for some programs it doesn't show the compatibility options.

Sure, works fine. Id just checked on some executables that apparently were x64 or newer enough to not provide compatibility mode beyond win vista and though compat mode was removed, but I was wrong :)

I used compatibility mode in Win10 x86 Pro to install my 16-bit application.
There were 2 extra steps to get the 16-bit app working though.

Aww how I miss using some of my 16 bit programs in windows ever since going 64 bit. Wish there was a way other than VM to get that working somehow. o_O
