I have managed to get a 12 Months Kaspersky internet security licence. Question is, is it as good as nod32? because I am getting fed up with having to keep changing nod32 keys as they are getting blacklisted a little too often these days. Or am I better with nod32?
every time i recive a computer with nod32 i have to do a scan with kaspersky, because they are full of viruses and spyware. KIS is a really nice option (try to select only recomended settings, with the better security setting it becomes very annoying)
Best at Detection rate and also Good Firewall, Kaspersky's the Best... when u have its key why so much hassle for Nod32 keys...
i got nod32. i'm also thinking to change. In windows 7 with nod the homegroup network is not working and this was one of the points to change
kaspersky and Eset, use the same amount of resoursces approximately...but Eset is not at its best right now, while Kaspersky is moving fordward..i find kaspersky better at this point K'dude
That is an easy fix, click on the update tab (in advanced setup) and tick the box that says allow beta versions (or something along those lines) then click apply, then on the main screen do an update, when it is finished the home group will work, (you may have to set it up again once)
A couple of the review sites I checked liked Norton Internet Security 10 the best. I switched from Kaspersky and so far it seems to scan quicker and be less obtrusive than Kaspersky was. Surprisingly, the current version supposedly uses a lot less memory than past versions. All in all, I like Norton quite a bit so far.
I don't. It's been awful in the past, huge, slowed everything down, obnoxious, just rubbish. KIS, at the mo, seems really good. However, I would augment it with CCleaner, TuneUp Utils and Spyware Doctor. For Win7 - maybe Win7 Manager. Not sure at this point, as it's not working on an older PC with Win7. If you are worried about Rootkits - add some stuff for that, too. But the above works well for most of the usual garbage/malware on the net, IMHO.
