not able to change motherboard's serial number and uuid permanently

    Maybe your using a newer amidewin for Aptio5 bios. Try an older 1 for Aptio4.
    I would also try this from dos or uefi & not from windows...

    i am using AMIDEWINx64 Utility v2.00
    smbios version is 2.7
    can you give me link where all versions are present , i will use hit and trail method
    thx

    Your bios is socketed, buy few cghips, make an vbackup and you can do everything without risk of damage. IMHO everything is stored in the flash. Be careful those spi flashes have OTP bits and you can lock it .areas of memory are then read only forever

    Can you please dump the bios. Dont worry about the file format I just need the bios.
