How about deleting pid.txt and use ei.cfg

    Code:
    [Channel]
    Retail

    [VL]
    0
It should ask, what to install and allow to skip the key prompt.

FYI: You must use either or, not both, pid.txt will always out-rule ei.cfg.

Yep, it seems. I always start with a non-changed WIM and when the general process is working i start to manipulate a copy of that WIM. NTLite might indeed need some adaptions to handle the new WIMs properly. I still prefer to use DISM (then i need to know what i do, before i do) :cool2:.

Integrating spares a lot of time. Install process isn't really longer for me and Windows Update offers only stupid Browser Choice and the definitions for Defender (till i install AVG IS). A fresh install of even the latest Win 8.1 with Update needs 2 hours, or in case WU is slow, even longer only for the dreaded updates :cool2:.

Check the WIM if all info is still included:

    Code:

Yep, NTLite definitely screwed it for this :cool2:. ImageX (as the only one) only offers to add the 'edition' string (should be 'Professional'), not the other one.

AND ServicepackLevel should state '0' normally :nsa:.

Although i love Dism/ImageX/Wimlib-ImageX it's a PITA to handle that manually via Deployment Tools CMD. So i developed my own CWUI (Command Window User Interface). It's part of JATD and by far the biggest sub-script there. Covers nearly all needed option for those nice tools.

Tool uses it's own adk files set (in unreleased vXII.3 the latest available thanks abbodi :good3:), so it works even on my Win8.1SE live-system and on my Win 7 laptop. Every sub-menu offers option to set new pathes and can handle the complete WIM (all found indices) to mount, service and unmount/commit.

It will always show all needed output directly :cool2:.
