I have an Dell Latitude E6400. W7 ultimate x64 clean install, activated with orginal dell 2.1 slic bios and oem-slp key and cert (Dell). I`m using the orginal nb-NO mui from WU, and the language pack are copyed to patch welcome screen an new user accounts. Whole my compute have been on Norwegian language.

But today, both the "starting windows" screen and the F8 menu (safe mode etc) is not on Norwegian anymore.. Its in English. Whats happening??

    Things i did yesterday:

-Flashed bios from Dell bios A20 to Dell bios A25.
    - splitted up my harddrive from one 320gb disk to 60gb C drive and 260gb D drive.

Exept from this, i havent done any changes. Can someone help me get my Norwegian F8 menu back??

And one more thing.. After splitting my harddrive, windows would not load anymore, no media was found. I had to insert my win 7 dvd and, rapair with "fix startup issues". Then windows loaded.

You just need to change your boot manager language back to Norwegian.

I'm not sure of the exact command but it is something like

    bcdedit /set {bootmgr} locale nb-NO
    bcdboot "%Windir%" /l nb-NO
Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
