Noticed something strange today...

    Even though I'm running the latest 21H2 build (10.0.19044.1415), the version of Windows shown under the linked Device section of my Microsoft Account says 2009, meaning 20H2. The currently installed Windows on my PC is a clean installed 21H2 and I have never installed 20H2 (2009) on this PC.

    Is it 2009 for everyone or is it just for me lol?

    I know they share some numbvers and this might be it. As my two pc's are in a domain (I bet this is why) I cant see version, just OSBuild

    Even Windows 11 is still 2009
    it's obsolete registry value that MS stopped to update

    I see. Had no idea that the 2009 comes from this registry value. MS can be so weird at times lol.
