    i have so many in there that are listed from software i tried out and no longer use but the name is still listed there that i do not want listed. Is there a way to delete them for good?

    If you still has the apps installed, no wonder! If the apps are uninstalled, you could use to edit the registry and do an search for that apps and delete all entries of it. I use Registra Registry Manager for that.

    Open up task manager->start-up, and disable them to launch. :D

    But you'll still have that rubbish on your machine! I like to have a clean machine and delete what I didn't pretend to use anymore, including of cleaning the registry in an manual way as described above.

    Anyway, that's how I handle that for my own system, others may and properly using a different way!:D

    AFAIR the "ItSamples" version does not work on Win 8.

    I had to find a new one and had it ages, I can rar it up for you.
