If I just change the key and try to activate will it be OK or will the OS try co contact a "who knows where" server with my key? If so, how to change back to activate on MS servers?
i think you can stop service "Software Protection" and delete folder "C:\Windows\System32\spp\store",after that, reboot.make sure you have back it up.if you can't delete the folder,do it in winpe
Just install the key and activate. Installing a non KMS-client key will get rid of the KMS activation. Doing anything else, especially something suggested by somebody with four posts who joined last week, is asking for disaster. slmgr -ipk [new product key] skngr -ato
I just uninstall my key to convert into retail one, and want to test some key, but failed then I reinstall the volume key, and my activation still remains 179 days just for precaution, do backup
