    I have downloaded a few different types of the office 2010, retail,VL and select versions.
    Mind you the select one was an .ISO.
    All the others i have downloaded from here are in .exe.
    I have been testing these on my spare HDD so not to upset my good OS.
    When i click on the .exe the office 2010 installs nicely.
    Now i want to be able to install off a disc so i extrated the files from the .exe. I have used 7Zip and the new WinZip to do this but i get an odd problem.
    With the extracted files a click on the "setup" and it tells me this can not be installed on my version of language ( or words to that effect )...
    My language is set to UK English.

    Anybody got an idea of where i am going wrong.

    cheers..

    You need to extract the contents of the exe file by running the following command from a command prompt.

    Code:
    filename.exe /extract:{path to extract}

    example:

    en_office_professional_plus_2010_x86_515486.exe /extract:C:\Office2010

    Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
