    oem logo for win 8 is different from win 7?

    No, but the OEM's may have updated them

    go to regedit


    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OEMInformation
    creat some string value like this:


    -logo: browse your bitmap
    -Manufacturer: ....
    -Model:....
    -supporthours:....
    -supportphone: .....
    -supporturl: ....

    i think newer Windows 7 OEM Brander 1.9 maybe slightly newer.. 4shared.com/rar/GRSqdON2/Windows_7_OEM_Brander_19.html
    maybe a newer one soon for Windows8 OEM Brander will come soon

    All these logo's are so old and out of date?? I hope all oem manufacturer update thier logo's!! much flatter and keeping in with the metro theme!! The new hp logo is nice...

    Yes, the logos are changed now...but tell me, is there are similar tool do the task??? Incidentally, we can insert logos by Tune-up utilities also...Actually i was answering to luky's question.....Hope someone soon would make a similar tool with latest logos and all brands in it!!!!!!!!
