OEM to VLK

    Hi,

    Is it possible to convert OEM installation to VLK and how do i go about it? I installed using DELL OEM CD but it is not activating since SLP is not being inserted properly in my BIOS.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the suggestion. Will keep those files handy. Was able to activate OEM SLP by changing the OEMBIOS files and SLP string to ASUS. It seems the tool I use to modify the SLP has some problems when using Dell Computer as SLP string.

    You needa bios mod to add Dell Computer slp string because of where it goes in memory normal DMI tools cant add it.
