Dear all, I have one question: is Win7 OEM disc one and only (just burned and distributed by different manufacturers) or does every manufacturer has its own? If the later one is the case - what are the differences?
I am little bit confused about a lot different OEMs posted on net. Many thanks in advance!

As far as original MS images go, OEM-, Retail-, and all the Edition-Images are really all one and the same thing. The only difference (besides 32 and 64 bit media) is the text in the ei.cfg and some words in the EULAs, but none of that has any influence on the actual operating system. On the contrary; if you remove the ei.cfg from any two MS images of the same architecture you will have two times the exact same install medium. (Plus the option to choose which edition to install since its no longer pre-specified via the ei.cfg.) The ProductKey you enter will ultimately specify whether your Windows will be an OEM or Retail version.

OEM manufacturers (DELL, HP, etc.) are of course a different story. Some of them provide their own media to customers which include customized contents. But that hasnt been the question...
