Office 15 can be installed in Windows 8?

    Office 15 can be installed in Windows 8?

    I have successfully installed, you can install your own landlord try, ask is impossible!

    What's your Win8 version?
    7850 or 7955?

    I read that it could not be installed on Windows 8 yet, but where there's a will there's a way. I tried installing on 7955 & with compatibility mode with every option, but no luck. :confused:

    YOu can install if you edit file descriptor.xml and change "OS ProductType" from "6.1" to "6.2"
    But then you can't use any of office programs beacuse it says that OS is not presently configured -.-"

    I assume you are wanting to do this because you want to see if it can be done? If not, I roll my eyes at you sir.

    I will try to get it working, probably need some resource edits so getting that program already. :)

    if you install it on windowss 8 using that trick, you will not be able to uninstall it

    u re not good, uninstalled without problems in 7955, from control panel......

    I install by this way (on 7955), but nothing is working (error: The operating system is not presentlr configured to run this application.)

    Yeah, Word used todo that. But it just stopped happening and works now. No idea why.
