Just curious on how searching for hours comes up nothing at all about what happens if you have no backup of your Office rearms - how do you get Office to start fresh again?

I've removed every trace that I can find of Office using removal tools (RefuseToSuffer uninstaller), general uninstaller tools (Revo, etc.), manually in the registry (Admin Permisions - LM/Software/Microsoft/Office & CU/Software/Microsoft/Office), and %TEMP% but I still have no luck after reinstalling Office to get them back. Even tried different versions of Office (Standard & Pro) - VL and Retail.

Activators do not work as they require rearms and I tried every available option to restore and there is no backup at all of them - even checking the hidden folders.

Is it just me or is there a way to fix this without reinstalling the OS?

KMS Resetters or Grace Resetters sound like exactly what is needed. Anyone have an idea of the name of one or perhaps a link?

Those won't work if you have no re-arms left at all - zero & no days left on grace period.

Okay, so EZ-Activator is the only option. Is there a way to manually do it as well since EZ-Activator isn't doing it for me? Perhaps using the same method but by hand instead of being automated with the program?

I didn't see a repair option in the program and just running it with default settings doesn't do it (nor playing with the settings) so I'm kinda stuck.

What is the error you get. And did you try after the available button?

I did a Windows 7 "Uprade/Repair" to see if it changes anything and no luck. I did at one point have Office 2007 installed but I used a cleaner to remove that completely. Tried to delete the license and then use EZ-Activator with still no luck. Here is some of the things that have happened.

Also, sometimes I see Auto KMS fail and the Windows 7 box alerts me of it ending it - keep in mind no AV is installed and Windows Defender is disabled as well. Argggg! Also, this is maybe my 5th time re-installing Office including using the removal tools and manually removing registry entries. So weird!

After doing the delete license files, it successfully does so and reinstalls it back on but then as soon as I run EZ-Activator the box pops up "Local KMS Host as stopped working" again.

It got so bad that even reinstalling after a utility based clean-up of Office 2010 it was shooting error pop-ups during the install (I think I was up to my 10th reinstall of Office) so I decided to reinstall Windows 7 - worked on the first try like always with EZ-Activator.

Remember folks, don't let your re-arms ever run out or you will be sorry! BACK UP YOUR LICENSE! :p

Thanks for the help too timesurfer, much appreciated. :shake:

    Hey there!

I'm sorry for the late response, but I just had to reply.
To be honest outboost, it's too bad you had to reinstall Windows 7, because that wasn't necessary.
You could have used a free utility to remove any existing licenses of Office after uninstalling it.
You can find it by goggling "Office key remover".

Just thought it would help for future reference.
    Good day.

I'm afraid I have the same problem as outboost. I have 0 rearms left, so I can't use IORRT. I tried to use EZ-activator, as timesurfer suggested, but I received the following error message:
    EZ-Activator Failed!
Here is a more detailed description about the error:
    Failed to start C:\Windows\KMSEmulator.exe

So available 'Rearm Office 2010' is still 0. I also used the 'office key remover', as The Wizard suggested, but that did not do the trick for me. Maybe any other suggestions? Thanks!

No problem use Cody's toolkit to repair licence for your EXACT version then try EZ again

Also you might want to turn off AV so emulator can start

Timesurfer, thanks. But I after I installed the license with the toolkit (license type: volume; license for: standard, Information Console: License succesfully installed), I still can't use the EZ-activator: Information console:
    EZ-Activator Failed!
Here is a more detailed description about the error:
    Failed to start C:\Windows\KMSEmulator.exe

Any idea what to do now? Thanks.
