    Hi,

On my PC at work, we use Windows 7 (enterprise) + MS Office 2010 professional plus.
Last week, lots of updates were automatically installed for Windows 7 and MS Office 2010.

Since then I notice that a lot of VBA-programs are running very slow.
Those VBA-programs consists of some code to create excelfiles (with a nice layout) based on an Access database.

Just to illustrate: before the automatic updates, a typical VBA-program took 30 minutes to produce a couple of excelfiles.
Now the same program takes 2 hours to do the same.

It runs all locally so it can't be a network issue.

Is it a known issue with MS Office 2010 that things can run so much slower after updating?

If I could, I would reinstall MS Office, but since it's not my PC I prefer not to uninstall things. (I'm not allowed to do it from my ICT-department).
I tried a system restore to a point before the updates were installed, but that didn't help: all updates are still present after the system restore (which is not logical imho)

    Anyone has any advice?
