Sorry for my bad english, google Me is a huge breakthrough succeeded. The mini KMS server will not work with Office 2013 installed would have left me no peace, and for the activation of my GLVK Key I did not want to rely forever on the Chinese KMS server, which will be sometime down. So I tested it works. Ok mini KMS is blocked on the local PC from Office 2013, so I thought, it looks like a PC in the local network or in the VM. So mini-KMS_Activator started copied to a VM and the KMS service is activated, nothing more, which is installed as a service. Now you can mini-KMS_Activator close, because the required service was installed. Now on the local PC Office 2013 enabled in the console. First, assign the KMS server IP, so the IP of the computer in the VM So folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15 Open the console cscript ospp.vbs /sethst:192.168.100.50 <-- IP from my VM now the activation cscript ospp.vbs /act has not worked out the same, however. after the third or fourth time Therefore, a few had even started in the VM with mini-KMS_Activator the KMS Service. Whether it's by then worked or whether it's because of the KMS server was in the VM for a while until he needed through the network "connected" was all I can say. Now again check the status cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus Consequently, mini KMS is installed on the local PC on which Office 2013 blocked, but not installed on another PC on the Office 2013 is NOT. Here are my results of the status check Test before I did that with the VM and was activated as yet about the Chinese KMS server Note the 179 days since I yesterday activated the last time by act And now, in my VM activation So again a full 180 days, the proof that it works. The same goes also with Office 2010 applications, if you have installed there some whose activation is blocked by miniKMS yes even through the installation of 2013. In 2010 you only have to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14 In the console access and perform the steps above. Start no later than 180 days after the VM again. and by cscript ospp.vbs /act Activate again to return to a full 180 days have.
Yes, Host OS for Office 2013 is Windows 7 Ultimate x86. VM OS is Server 2008 x86. But windows 7 should work as VM OS. It is important, which is installed in the VM NOT Office 2013
Thank you very much. i ran the kms service on another computer and it does indeed activate office 2013. you are a life saver.
You don't need to make a big deal out of it. Office 2013 when on windows 7 use the old KMS request/response format as Ofiice 2010 and hence the old ZWT keygen can activate it except that office 2013 can't use your own machine as KMS host. so you need to run the keygen in a remote machine.
I have Win7 Ultimate installed and Office 2013 in PC. Win 8 Pro is installed in Virtualbox and i installed the mini kms server in it. Now,how do i activate Office 2013?
Could someone give a quick walktrough on this method, just a person, who isn't a expert from a technical perspective
I'm no expert but I guess it's something along these lines... 1. Install the Volume License version of Office 2013 on Windows 7 x86 / x64 using a valid key (google is your friend). 2. Run the mini-KMS activator and install the KMS service on a networked PC / VM. (Do not install the KMS service on the same PC where Office 2013 is installed, this will not work). 3. Open the Office 2013 command console. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15 <-- Your install path may be different. 4. Now set Office 2013 to connect to the KMS service running on your network. Run this command: cscript ospp.vbs /sethst:192.168.0.2 <-- The IP address of the networked PC where you installed the KMS service. 5. Command that activates Office 2013 (180 days max). Run this command: cscript ospp.vbs /act 6. Command that checks the activation status of Office 2013. Run this command: cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus
I always get the message "No Office KMS licenses were found on the system". I have installed the KMS service on a different system and always get this message. cscript ospp.vbs /sethst:192.168.2.107 I also get this message if I just try this chinese server. Are there different licenses? C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15>cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host, Version 5.8 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 1996-2001. ---Processing-------------------------- --------------------------------------- SKU ID: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX LICENSE NAME: Office 15, OfficeProPlusR_Grace edition LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 15, RETAIL(Grace) channel BETA EXPIRATION: 01.01.1601 LICENSE STATUS: ---NOTIFICATIONS--- ERROR CODE: 0xC004FE00 ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Software Licensing Service reported that activation is re quired to recover from tampering of SL Service trusted store. That is because you have the retail version of office 2013 installed. You need volume version to activate against KMS.
sorry for off-topic,but,has anyone compared Office 2010 to Office 2013? is it really all that great?-->(2013)
This doesn't work for me. Windows 7 ultimate x64 + office pro plus 2013 VL x64 (french version) KMS Server: Windows XP Mode x86 + mini kms activator 1.072 => office 2010 can contact and activate but 2013 says 0x8007000D.
