Office 2016 [Retail] updates

    I've been using Office Pro 2016 for some time and I haven't got a notification regarding any updates via windows update.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    How can I change the setting the updates to go from automatic to notify, like it is with windows update?

    That's not Current Branch, probably Insider Branch. Branches.

    What tool are you using in the first screenshot? it seems to allow to get retail Office without Click to Run!? :eek:

    Hi Nucleus:

    Thank you for your following comment:

    "Office 2016 Retail is C2R (Click2Run) and updates aren't delivered through WU (only Office Volume Licensed gets updated through WU). C2R updates will happen transparently in the background unless you have changed the setting."

    Questions
    1. How can I change the setting to get Office 2016 Updates (Retail) from Windows Update?
    2. In what place I can know the last build of Office 2016? (Current build is 16.0.6001.1038)

    1. You can't. Only Office 2016 VL updates are delivered via WU.

    ....Is there a way to install updates offline in Office Retail 2016? Equal to VL?......^^
