Office 2019 does not update

    Hi everyone

    I have office 2019 ProPlus installed along with Visio and ProjectPro.
    I cannot get it to update.
    Windows updates for other product is selected in WU, but still won't update when given the command.
    It just doesn't react.
    I am using Windows 10, 1909 version.
    Is there some sort of troubleshooter or some hint/tips/tricks?

    Did you check and open "word" or any of the office apps, and go to file > account and to update office?

    unfortunately wu only for drivers and windows os and windows optional parts and office prior to 2019; office 2019 needs manual intervention opening up one of the programs and then in account,office updates, update now

    Did that, it does not update. My other laptop runs just fine office updates

    and the one that doesn't update says product activated?

    From which channel did you install office and what is your current version?

    I did the repair online option and it got corrected somehow.
    I appreciate your help.
    Can I close this thread or put "solved" here?

    Do you have any issues with downloading updates for Windows or is it just Office 2019? I ask this as there are well documented Windows Update problems during the last 2 weeks or so. I have Office 2019 Pro Plus and although this updates fine, I have had to manually enter Google DNS settings to enable Windows to update. I did not check at the time as to if this affected MS Office as well.

    I had issues only with office 2019
