Can someone please help me? According to the Office Account settings I am already signed in with my MS account but it is not showing my MS profile picture and all the Office apps keep showing the white "Sign in" button at the top. Things I have tried without any result: 1. Signing off and back in again 2. Changing the profile picture 3. Deleting the Office credentials in Control Panel 4. Sfc /scannow does not show any problems. I'm using Office 2019 Pro Plus version 1808 build 10356.20006 Click-To-Run on Windows 10 Pro x64. It is succesfully activated Is anyone else experiencing this? Any help?
Have you tried restarting your computer? I know this sounds silly but... You could also open cmd as admin and type ipconfig renew. Then hit return. Just a shot in the dark as I have never experienced this problem.
4. Sfc /scannow does not show any problems. System File Checker is a utility in Microsoft Windows that allows users to scan for and restore corruptions in Windows system files. Office is not Windows System. I'm using Office 2019 Pro Plus version 1808 build 10356.20006 Click-To-Run on Windows 10 Pro x64. It is succesfully activated "It is succesfully activated" - does it means activated using Microsoft account?
I have tried restarting yes. The ipconfig /renew command doesn't help either. So you don't have a white "Sign in" button at the top? Is it showing your MS username instead? No, it is activated by running a manual KMV_VL_All.cmd script without auto renewal.
Sorry, but then, why should it know something about your Microsoft account? Is there any reason why it should know something about your account and start downloading your data from there?
Because after activating, you can sign into your MS account within any Office app. It shows my MS username and my OneDrive files. I would expect it should then also be able to show my profile picture and not a "Sign in" button at the top. Or am I missing something?
I logged in and it shows my OneDrive files, I can't find where it should state if I have Office installed or not. There is a button that says "Install Office" but it's about Office 365. One question; do you have the ability to test this out using my activation method and see if it has the same problem at your end?
I don't want to install it on this computer. Probably someone else can say it, ie the one who has it installed. But Office 365 means that You rent it from Microsoft and You pay for using. Office 2016, 2019 means that You have fully purchased it and You are not paying to Microsoft nothing more for using Office. That's the difference between these names.
Yes, I understand. Should it show "Office 2019" then in my case? Does it show in your case? I vaguely recall this whole profile picture and signing in issue not being there before I clean installed Windows. No idea what triggered it. I reinstalled Office, did an auto-repair and refreshed the network setting but no avail. Hopefully someone else who activated or can activate it using my method could confirm this?
