Here is the CD I created the ISO from: It clearly states that a Volume Licensing Key is required. After install it is identified as a Volume Licensed version. Could it be that this image will work as both retail and volume depending on the key (ala Windows 8 Pro)?
Now that is interesting, You know, I am not sure lol. That would be something to try in a VM and see what happens. Strange how your hash shows MSDN hashes since I believe the ones at MSDN are retail and not VL (AFAIK).
Just to be sure that I had not been confused about the source of the ISO, I created another from the CD using PowerISO. I came up with the same sha1 hash value: e9fa6034c5822ed1f5b1859c57c1d677e4408327. @jackhorror - I am glad that you found what you needed. This forum is a treasure trove of information. I learn new things every day.
