I could backup my Office 2007 Home & Student by storing: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OFFICE\DATA\ file.bpc & opa12.dat Office Pro Plus 2010 doesn't have these files... What files do I copy to backup my activation? C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\ tokens.dat ??? C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\Cache\ cache.dat ??? HELP
Yes that is correct along with shutting down the service OPPSVC if it is running. I actually have a program that is still getting the bugs worked out that does that and restores too. Let me know if you want to try it dude.
k I'll do that in a bit. BTW Do you know any links to the MSDN Version of Office 2010? I want to try another crack
yeah, i stopped OPPSVC and copied those two files i then reinstalled windows and placed those two files in place i then reinstalled office 2010, but i still had to enter a product key and activate it activated, but should i still have to reenter the product key and activate? with office 2007, i placed the .bsc and .dat files in place, installed, and i was activated is this to be expected or am i doing somethign wrong/out of order?
it worked for me, you should install office first, stop OPPSVC then replace those two file with backuped one
Could someone help me and make a script to replace pkeyconfig-office.xrm-ms, tokens.dat, Cache, OSPP.VBS, OSPPSVC.EXE, ProPlusrWW.XML and SETUP.XML ? Thanks in advance.
Why would you need all those files replaced and to what files? I know my program replaces both tokens.dat and cache.dat which are needed for activation but why do you need pkeyconfig-office.xrm-ms, OSPP.vbs, OSPPSVC.exe, ProPlusrWW.xml and setup.xml to be replaced?
It's all good. BTW I don't even think you need to backup pkeyconfig.office-xrm.ms. I may be wrong but I heard that the only ones you need are the dat files.
Ok but i can't understand why i can activated it in virtual machine through internet without replacing files ? I tried it 3 times in three different systems and it worked
It probably has something to do with the way vmware links to the physical OS using the same internet protocal. I am just guessing though. Hey, where do you get the pkeyconfig file? I checked this location mentioned but it was empty. Maybe cause I am activated via MAK key. I don't know though, here is the file location that was empty for me though: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\Office Setup Controller
In msdn professional pro plus is inside \Office Setup Controller. I checked my other pc that i have installed VL copy and i also didn't find it.
PASS of Office VL to Office Retail this methode is very good to pass of Office 2010 VL to Office 2010 Retail. and onely 2 files are necessery: cache.dat and tokens.dat i have make this on dualboot win7/XP Office 2010 VL on win7 and office 2010 MSDN Retail on XP
