I downloaded, installed and activated Office 2016 with the O2016RTool without any problem. At this moment, I have 16.0.6228.1004, activated, works perfectly. Everything seems to be O.K, BUT, I observed that in the applications File - Account - Office updates - Update now (or similar, sorry, I use a Hungarian version) does nothing, again (the same happened a few times at earliar versions of Off2016 and even on another computer!). What is more, in this state I cannot uninstall Office by the normal method (only with FixIt, but after it it is impossible to install a new Office). I tried to use O2016RTool again to install 16.0.6001.1034_hu-HU_x86_x64 manually, but after the download the setup phase fails (for a moment, I can only see the orange logo of the Office installer, but that's all). Unfortunately, this situation is familiar to me. The only thing I can do is the complete reinstall the computer what I hate. Could you suggest me, friends, a nice, smart trick to make Update work again, without reinstallation of Office?
Well, 16.0.6228.1004 is the latest Insiders build. It should show Updated to date atm. But Update now does nothing. This is not normal. Have you tried the official hu_office_professional_plus_2016_x86_x64_dvd_6971452.iso - 16.0.4266.1003? It should be able to upgrade to 16.0.6001.1034 by Update now button.
Thanks, Xinso. I know that 16.0.4266.1004 is the last version. The problem is that something happened to my Office installation, because clicking on Update, I can not see anymore that "All Office products are up to date", as earlier, but absolutely nothing happens. In this state (I have experience, unfortunately), no update will be available in the future, moreover, I can not uninstall Office and/or install another version, as You suggested. So, the present installation sholuld be fixed, I think.

The message you provided is not in Hungarian, but I figured out that it states that Office is being upgraded, you can use it in the meantime - that is, the normal behaviour of the upgrade process. I have seen it many times before, but not now on my computer. My problem is that my Office "closed itself": no upgrade, no uninstall, so it is not impossible to perform a clean install with any version. (I tried it.) I use 3 computers. After clean Windows 10 and Office 2016 installations, everything (I mean: updates) worked regularly _for a while_, but finally the update possibility went away, as I wrote earlier. On all 3 computers, all versions of Office. (I suspected that AVG did something, but there is no sign of that effect. Maybe a Windows update?)
