Hey there, I have a valid Office XP Pro OEM key, from a laptop which i am reinstalling. But i can't find a copy of the disc anywhere. The key won't work with my only disc which is Office XP Pro VLK. Can anyone assist? Cheers.
You will have to download a copy oem version of office in order for the key to work. By the way where did you get an oem key from? If from computer manufacture you should have got the copy of office oem too.
Yes, i realise i have to download one but thats the problem, i can't source an ISO from anywhere. Its all VLK etc. I'm fixing an incredibly old laptop which has Windows 2000 on it. If you want in idea of how old, it looks like a brick and has a 2000/ME sticker on it. Before formatting, i fired up linux and copied out the registry files so i could retrieve the product keys from them. The result is a bunch of OEM keys for both Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office XP Professional. All i need is an iso, but its so hard to source one for such an old product. Especially one thats untouched without cr**ks etc.
