    Hi

I've been following a guide on adding OEM Logos into AMI BIOS using a DOS utility. The logo saves into the BIOS files correctly (if I reextract the file its the same) but it simply does not show on boot up.

The BIOS file I have doesn't currently have the OEM Logo or the full screen logo.

The motherboard is an old MSI MS-6159/MS-6160 and the only BIOS I have for it was extracted from it. It's an OEM version of another board AFAIK but MSI don't have the BIOS or information for hand.

I'm wondering if you guys can help? I've had a look down rebelshavenforum.com but it seems far to technical and confusing e.g. some of the methods they use to add extra stuff involving hex editing.

    The guide is here: http://www.virtual-hideout.net/guides/bios_logo_mods_part2/index2.shtml

I've tried the Award version of the BIOS and another tool to edit that too but nothing seems to happen:

I've given up on trying to sort this myself but still interested in seeing if it is possible to get it to work... anyone?

if you will search for a 2 years back you will see some users that mod the boot logo
you can ask the users that make this but now you make more trouble for your bios
    just remember:
bios logo is a picture with 16 colors with very very poor color pattern so this is making everything in the bios ugly (it's look like the old ugly dos picture utility's) o_O
