Old Compaq EVO n410c

    For what it's worth, i was able to install and Activate Win7 Ultimate on my 7 year old 1.2Ghz, 512MB notebook and use the XP versions of the wireless and network drivers since Win7 did not recognize them.

    I used the DAZ software loader first in default mode but that caused my system to bluescreen. So after i recovered the boot loader, i tried again using the Alternative Mode and a Lenovo key and that time it worked.

    Performance isn't too bad, either.

    Is it a P-III or P-VI????
    I 'm considering using windows 7 on my old Celeron 420 (1.6Ghz) Acer Laptop

    P-III. I only have a 4200RPM drive so a faster drive would also increase speed.
