I have an HP a1430n computer. The bios says Phoenix-AwardBIOS 3.10. Can this be updated to the SLIC 2.1? If so any ideas on how or will I have to change moterboards. The HP website says it's a ASUS A8N-LA (HP/Compaq motherboard name: Nagami-GL8E). I looked at the ASUS site and could not find any information on bios upgrades for this board. Thanks for any help.

It says to use awardflash through DOS. When I look to see instructions on how to do it, it says format a 3 1/2 floppy. Well my machine does not have a floppy. Are there instructions on how to flash the BIOS with a CD or through Windows? Help me please!

It doesn't say in the bios for USB boot. Can I make a boot CD?
