So after I installed the update I went non genuine, I followed some steps by user PAYMYRENT to get back to genuine status, see below I re armed windows through his app, rebooted, installed a cert and key and I was genuine again, but everytime I go online for the validation it fails and I go back to non genuine. Im genuine at the moment because I have done the steps by PAYMYRENT again, though I don't know if could do it again if I go non genuine because I am out of re arms lol Anyone know what's going on? Running Win 7 ultimate, if any more info is required I can provide it.
I didn't have to mod my bios, SLIC toolkit reads my bios as having 2.1 a while ago when I first activated, I just installed a proper cert and a key and windows was activated. @secr9tos: to re arm Im using Key-Cert branding by PAYMYRENT.
i told him to change his key but he told me no. the Dell key inst blacklisted tho. if it is someone needs to prove it to me.
I'm not using a blacklisted key. My original key was the one for Acer/Gateway, it failed the online test. PAYMYRENT told me to try another, which I did (sorry if you misunderstood my reply) I tried the Asus key and it still failed. I think now Im using one from Sony, but I don't even want to bother with the online validation since Im out of re arms
with his slic reading 2.1 already if it is not a new machine perhaps he has used a pre-cracked windows 7 ie bie that is now blocked.that would give you a reading as though your slic is already 2.1 when infact its just a 2.1 slic loader.
I got the Win7ldr app opened. Sorry for the noobness but tell me exactly what I need to set properly before I click install. I got an acer laptop.
ok in the slic list select Acer and pick the Acer key in the key list if the key isnt there just get it from the sticky. if you want the loader again just leave the install mode at full. then click install. when you click install the program *should* remove the old loader and install the new one
