Open .ASX streaming file in IE9 with foobar2000, without "save as/open" prompt?

    The title says it all. With WMP as the default player, .asx streaming files will open from IE9 without a save/open prompt, but with any other media player as the default, I get a prompt. Is there a way I can defeat this behavior; with a .reg hack or similar?
