I don't know what's up, nothing in event viewer...

if I have my Downloads folder open for example, after a while it looks as if explorer.exe has crashed and thus, the folder gets closed down......

anyway to find out what's the culprit? I have a feeling it's Classic Shell causing this

The only thing I see in event viewer after I have cleared the logs and this has happened is:

    Event ID 1014:

Name resolution for the name yify-torrents.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.

If you uninstall the ClassicShell Classic Explorer , does it keep happening?

boot safe mode with net, do tweaking.com AIO tool repairs.
then reboot and to sfc scannow in safemode with net.

did u check event viewer app and system ?

after, boot normal and check win updates and in cmd admin Net Start Deviceinstall

seen a bug where some access denied and missing service wont let drivers install

Error: "invalid data 1" and others like configuration on sound device.

i did run .net cleanup tool on one and i think it helped as it showed .net 4.0.39 issues.

well I already restored an image to the point before installing any drivers and now used the stock drivers rather than the latest like the old WLAN, Bluetooth, Audio, etc. drivers with the exception of the nVIDIA Driver

now installing all my software again to see if this happens again
