I had this issue before and the way to fix it was to uncheck the option "allow other users to view/edit documents at the same time" or something in that matter... now with the latest OneDrive option, that option is gone and it seems to be enabled by default so I cannot disable it. The problem now is, when I open a document for the first time, I just get a blank document as if it didn't really open and I can see the OneDrive icon have a red X on it. Open it again and it works... any idea how to fix this? Running the latest Office 2016 v16.0.6769.2040 which I got with my Office 365 Home subscription
