I have an LG tv which is 1 or 2 yrs old. It has an optical port on the back of it for audio so it is possible to use head phones on it. I was told by LG customer support, that in order to use headphones, I will have to get a adapter like the following:

    https://www.wish.com/product/5bf764e046883f67a6484edc?from_ad=goog_shopping&_display_country_code=US&_force_currency_code=USD&pid=googleadwords_int&c={campaignId}&ad_cid=5bf764e046883f67a6484edc&ad_cc=US&ad_curr=USD&ad_price=1.00&hide_login_modal=true&share=web

Would I be able to connect a usb bluetooth adapter like the following:

and connect it to the 1st link item, connect them to a tv and use bluetooth headphones without issues?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thx
