Other uses for SLIC 2.1

    Are there any other uses for SLIC 2.1, except for the activation of Windows 7 Ultimate? Also, do any manufacturers officially support SLIC 2.1?

    Yes, you can activate vista with it too. Also dual boot should be much easier and have no activation problems

    Yes and no, They support it for their laptops they sell, but dont support it for mainboards that dont have SLIC (the ones that get modded).

    Does SLIC 2.1 have any other uses unrelated to the activation of any operating systems? Also, does the Lenovo 3000 N500 officially support SLIC 2.1?
