Whenever I change my location (I use a VPN) Outlook 2016 keeps prompting me for credentials, even though I ever the CORRECT passwords. I can log into the Hotmail and Gmail sites just fine.. But nothing I seem to do, aside from deleting and re-creating the accounts (which is a ROYAL pain - and doesn't work anyway when I switch locations). I have found numerous complains on this, but no answers whatsoever. Any ideas? This only happens when I switch from my "normal" location. Even different servers in the US keep giving me the prompt. Could be a issue when using VPN have u tried with out VPN to see if u get challenged for credentials.
